Barry

CHARLES LUNDSTRUM was born circa 1835 in Sweden and died circa 1870 in Massachusetts.  He was a seaman.  He married HANNAH BARRY September 23, 1861 in Boston, Massachusetts.  She was the daughter of DAVID BARRY and ELLEN (UNKNOWN).  She was born circa 1834 in Co. Cork, Ireland and died January 23, 1903 in Lynn, Massachusetts.  Charles and Hannah had three children (see below).

ANNIE CATHERINE LUNDSTRUM was born October 29, 1862 in Boston, Massachusetts and died April 15, 1912 in Lynn, Massachusetts (same day as Titanic sinking).  She was baptized November 2, 1862 at St. Stephen’s Church in Boston, Massachusetts.  She married PATRICK M. CRONIN August 14, 1883 at Our Lady Star of the Sea in Marblehead, Massachusetts.  See Patrick M. Cronin

MARY ELLEN LUNDSTRUM was born June 6, 1864 in Boston, Massachusetts and died as an infant May 6, 1866 in Boston, Massachusetts.

JOSEPHINE MATILDA LUNDSTRUM was born August 28, 1866 in Boston, Massachusetts and died October 24, 1946 in Lynn, Massachusetts.  She married WILLIAM HENRY KANE, March 1, 1892 in St. Joseph’s Church in Lynn, Massachusetts.  He was Chief Inspector of the Lynn Police Department.  Surviving children of Josephine Lundstrum and William Kane were as follows:

Army, serving as a captain the Army Medical Corps ® Physician at Lynn Hospital ® Married HELEN GERTRUDE COFFEY ® Their children were William Daniel, Lawrence Vincent, and Robert Donald ® Died in Lynn, Massachusetts

EDMUND F. KANE (1895-1944) ® Born in Lynn, Massachusetts ® World War I veteran, U. S. Army, serving as a member of a munitions division ® Suffered shell shock and spent 17 years in the Veterans Administration hospital ® Foreman at the Herick and Phelan Shoe Companies ® Apparently did not marry ® Died in Northampton, Massachusetts

CHARLES AUGUSTUS KANE (1899-1958) ® Born in Lynn, Massachusetts ® Die-sinker at General Electric Company (River Works) ® Married ESTHER A. LANNON ® Their children were Charles Richard and Elizabeth ® Died in Lynn, Massachusetts

RALPH JOSEPH KANE (1901-1971) ® Born in Lynn, Massachusetts ® Instrument inspector at the General Electric Company (West Lynn and Allen Street plants) ® Married FRANCES A. ROSICKY ® Their children were Ralph Joseph and Jean F. ® Died in Lynn, Massachusetts
